Southeast Michigan Mensa provides a variety of ways to get involved with the local community:

• Local Scholarship Program
  We award local scholarships annually, based on a scholarship essay. The best essays are also forwarded to the regional and national levels of the contest.
• Gifted Children's Resources
• Project Inkslinger
• Public Radio Support
• Public Television Support
  We regularly volunteer to answer phones during pledge drives at WDET, Detroit's public radio station.
