Welcome to the Web site of Southeast Michigan Mensa (SEMM). We are a local group (chapter) in Region 3 of American Mensa, which itself is part of Mensa International. Mensa is the largest of the international high-IQ societies. The purpose of SEMM is to provide opportunity for intellectual and social belonging and networking among diverse people.

The “Return of the Enola Gay” event has been completely SOLD OUT. If you managed to purchase tickets, we will see you on August 6! For those who were unable to buy tickets to the event, please keep your eyes on these pages for more events in the future. Thank you for all who helped make this event a sell out!

Navigator and sole surviving crewman of the Enola Gay Theodore “Dutch” Van Kirk, on its 63rd anniversary, will discuss his participation in the first atomic bomb mission. To be followed by Q&A. Full details are available in a promotional flyer.
Photos Wanted
Calling all SEMMers! We want your photos for inclusion on the SEMM Web site or use in M-Pathy. Photographs from Bashes, Regional Gatherings, Annual Gatherings, Monthly Meetings and other Mensan events are especially desired. Other photographs will be appreciated as well. You can submit your photographs to Bryan Stanbridge, Webmaster.
New Design
On June 7, 2008, Southeastern Michigan Mensa unveiled a new design for its Web site. The design is slowly making its way through the pages of the site, so you may see some of the pages in the old design for a while. Some links are also slowly being changed. For more details on where pages may now be located, please see the Site Conversion Guide.
